The Wall Is marked With
Level Strips, Vertically at 1200mm centers, than
check the straight edge or line by using alumnium
souare tube. The High spots on wall are identified
and minimum level in 6mm thickness is marfed ti
control the thickness of plaster.
The Background should be suitably wetted 10 minutes
prior to plastering, to displace trapped air &
to facilitate that the plaster has good contact
& bonding with background.
Plaster wet mix is prepared by mixing powder with
clean water, to have workable consistency. The wet
mix is then applied on rigid surface by using trowel,
in required yhickness, as per level strips fixed
as reference guidelines.
The best results are obtained by applying light
coat with firm pressure while using trowel.
The
entire surface of the wall is plastered in line
& level, As the plaster stiffens progressively,
flattering & finishing should be carried out.
When the plaster is sufficiently formed, the surface
should be finished with sponge coat with light application
of water. The finishing is finally done with slurry
coat, and by using trowel to have final smooth finish
surface.

It should be applied firstly as tight coat &
then turning back immediately to fill out to required
thickness.
As
soon as plaster starts setting, final finish is
obtained by moving trowel firmly on entire surface.
